How many Rabbis does Temple Beth Torah have?

Rabbi Moskowitz is our Senior Rabbi and spiritual leader.  Rabbi Wiesenberg is our Rabbi Educatior with primary responsibility for our schools and shares responsibilities for our Bar/Bat Mitzvah program with Cantor Appelbaum.  Rabbi Gellman continues to serve the congregation as Rabbi Emeritus, having retired in June of 2014.

How many members does Temple Beth Torah  have?

We currently have about 600 families.

What do I get for my membership dues?

Quite a lot. On top of the regular benefits of membership like High Holy Day tickets, access to summer camps and retreats, congregation dinners and more. Our Rabbis, staff, and members will be there to support you through life's challenges and joys. You will also be supporting our synagogue and the great programs we offer. Our members find they get back much more than they pay for. 

How do I join Temple Beth Torah?

Call the office and inquire (631) 643-1200 and you will be guided through the process.  Please schedule an appointment to meet with any of our clergy or professional staff when you do.

What if I can't afford membership dues?

Membership in our Synagogue is available to all, regardless of  their ability to pay.  We have an extremely confidential and descrete process to deal will any financial consideration needs. Please contact the office and simply ask to have the Financial Secretary (an elected congregational leader) contact you.
