Our Values

Tikkun Olam – Repairing the World

We are committed to doing our part to “repair the world”.  From small acts of tzedakah to partnerships with other organizations serving those in need, and pursuing “green” initiatives of our own.  Social Action and service is at the heart of our congregation.

Chesed – Loving Kindness

We interact with others from a place of kindness and caring.  God looks to individuals to treat each other with loving kindness and in turn, treats us with chesed.  We believe that kindness goes a long way to making the world better (and at least making our immediate world more pleasant every day.)

Torah- Experiential Jewish Learning

We uphold our faith through worship and study of the teachings of Judaism in order to foster a strong Jewish Identity and to help each of us integrate Torah Values into everyday life

Chavurah – Community/Belonging

We create avenues to come together through worship, learning and celebration leading to spiritual growth and a profound sense of belonging.  We are also here for each other in times of need.

Klal Yisrael – Commitment to Israel and the greater Jewish Community

We see ourselves as part of the larger Jewish community and continue to support Jewish life in Israel and throughout the world through travel, tzedakah and learning.
